About
Philosophy
Relationships have always been at the heart of my work; we make sense of ourselves in relation to others after all.
But in a world that often encourages independence over connection, many of us struggle to build or maintain meaningful relationships.
Therapy is a space to practice allowing ourselves to be heard and seen. Through exploring our relational patterns and tracing early attachment wounds, we can start to integrate parts of ourselves that tend to take over without warning, or have become shut off completely.
My way of working is integrative and client-led, rooted in psychodynamic theory, and incorporates mindfulness and parts work. I am also training in psychosexual and relationships therapy. Issues around sex and intimacy may be the focus for you; they may come up incidentally.
I tend to work in a long-term, open-ended way to allow unconscious material to emerge and integrate.
If you are struggling with something, or just want to gain greater understanding about yourself, get in touch.
